It's Official!!!

We were up at 5:30am for a 6:30am departure. After a bit of a delay in getting started, due to students writing exams to get in to the local University (thus the streets were packed), we were off. We travelled from Ho Chi Minh city to Bau Ria (sp?) to the department of justice to get paperwork for the adoption, then travelled to Vung Tau to have the Director sign, then had lunch, then back to Bau Ria tO sign the official paperwork, take pictures and that was it. Around 2:30pm today, baby E officially became our son. We then headed back to Ho Chi Minh ci. It is just after 6pm and we just got back to the hotel. We are all exhausted as we spent the majority of the day in the car. We will post pictures soon, I promise!

    Congratulations!!! So looking forward to the photos....!!! Was surprised to hear you were in HCMC, as I kept visualizing you still in Vung tau....so yes I can imagine the kind of exhausting day you had, back and forth. Hope you'll have some time to rest and relax!! Auguri again!!

    So happy for you!! Congratulations! Now time to relax and enjoy the rest of your trip in Vietnam as a family of four! Can't wait for pictures and to see the little guy when you get back home!

    CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

    Loan sent pics and videos yesterday after they gave my little girl the package. I saw a "real"smile on her face for the first time I think after she had opened the cookies.....lol

    CONGRATULATIONSA! I guess there are more early birds than me that caught this earlier here on the west coast. Wow! What an exciting day. I was wondering how things were going? You must have been busy over the weekend. Take care and hopefully you'll be homeward bound soon!
